Fishing is a very common hobby since ages and it can be done in different kinds of water. Fishing in the rivers is most rewarding yet extremely challenging. There are rivers that directly connect with the oceans. In such rivers, carp fishing is most appropriate. When you set foot on the pristine beaches of the Caribbean, you simply fall in love with it like no tomorrow. At least that is what we experienced in our trip to the Caribbean Islands. The highlight our trip was discovering Sophie’s Floating Beach Bar! No matter how hard we tried, we always found our feet taking us to Sophie’s Bar, now our officially favorite Caribbean bar. Peter & Sophie, a happy couple that own this one of a kind bar, exuded nothing but warmth and hospitality.
Their lovely floating bar also offered 2 modest rooms for anyone one interested in experiencing the actual Caribbean shacks. We were simply swept off our feet the moment we stepped aboard. But the main attraction of this bar is the unimaginable flat price of $5 for any drink you lay your eye on! What else could one ask for? We spent the entire day languishing in the sun, trying to get that perfect tan while Peter motored his floating bar through the Caribbean expanse.
It’s that time of the year again! Today we got to wander off into the deep seas, courtesy The Sunburst Trail Festival. Here is a sneak peek into how the day went by. We started off by helping the local crew to set up sail of the magnificent Swan 48. We finally set sail at 2pm, and dropped anchor mid sea soaking up the sun and silence of the surrounding. The organizers had arranged cocktails and dinner that was served from 6:30PM onwards. With the world’s most famous skyline on one side & a chilled glass of Champagne on the other with cool breeze in your hair.
What more could a city dweller ask for? The best part about the Sunburst Trail cruise is that there are no prior reservations needed, seating is on first-come, first-served basis. Hop aboard our next sailing event for a peaceful and, picturesque sunset, with fun, food and some interesting company. Whether you are sightseeing or you just want to take in the views of the NYC skyline, our cruises are the perfect get away for the urban crowds.
